Background
The work at the Center originates from Prof. Michael Grätzel and coworkers research on molecular solar cells at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland, since 1985.
In 1991 our activities started in Uppsala.
At present there are 200 companies in Japan and more than one research article is published each day.
The world record efficiency is 11% and there are som promising stability data. Over 1000 hours of test at 8%, at 85°C, and at 85% humidity.
